Lazy Sunday craftiness

Don't you just love lazy Sundays? Seem to get more crafty ideas at the end of the week.

My latest triumph was this lovely butterfly hair accessory.

It's amassing what a bit of felt, a couple of hat pins , a butterfly finding and a hairdressers sectioning clip can make. All secured with a little glue and good old needle and thread.

Wedding decorations

I know I haven't posted anything for a long while. Been extremely busy with exams and now wedding prep for next year. Luckily for me, I want a hand made feel for the day which means lots of crafting and hopefully a lot more blog posts.

My recent experiment is candles for the table decorations. Have bought some plain pillar candles and have stamped them using stazon in jet black. The image used for this one from Lili of the Valley, so cute.

Mr & Mrs Keeping - Wedding card

Been a bit slow at posting on my blog.  Made this card back in October for my best friend Sarah's wedding.  The stamp is from Lillie of the Valley (so cute), papers my minds eye and spring time by papercraft.  I also added a label stamp from the stamping up range to include the date of the wedding for a more personal touch.

Baby Mobile

I made this for my niece.  Using an old lamp shade, fishing wire, buttons and various wooden shapes.  Very pleased with the end result

First play with my Big Shot

I got a Big Shot from my lovely fiance for my birthday and had my first play with it yesterday.  Decided as it's Christmas soon that I would make some decorations which I saw my friend,Erika, demonstrate at our local craft shop.

Lost & Found papers by My Mines Eye
Spellbinders Shapeabilities 6
Glittery accents
Clear fishing wire

First I die cut the shapes.  Smaller flakes I used 3 die cuts and 4 for the larger ones.  Bent each one in half and stuck the halves together after matching up the patterns using glittery accents.  Made 2 large flakes and 3 small ones.  I linked them together using fishing wire.

Michael & Michelle's card welcoming Phoebe into the world

I made this card for the arrival of my niece in November.  Started making it at my local crop and finished it off at home.
